LOCATION: They are currently fully remote, but likely going back to the office 3 days/week later this year or early next. They will have office locations in NYC, SF, Chicago, and LA (W Hollywood).

What’s so interesting about this role?
The Company just became a public company in 2022 and they are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to come and help build their revenue forecasting function.
You will report to the VP of Finance, collaborating closely with the monetization and business intelligence teams to help them build sophisticated and complex models to accurately forecast their revenue and related KPIs, and to better understand their ongoing performance. You will also help make decisions on future revenue investment opportunities. You will deliver accurate and timely forecasts, help in the preparation of board materials, design and maintain key performance revenue metrics reports.

What’s the job?
This is a unique role that offers high impact and broad exposure across the organization. In this role, you will act as a key resource supporting the monetization team and overall finance leadership where necessary. Responsibilities may include:
- Building and owning sophisticated and complex models for accurate weekly, monthly, development of risk mitigation plans.
- Own yearly revenue budgeting and planning process.
- Working closely with the monetization team to align on new initiatives and growth targets
- Ongoing reporting of revenue results and related KPIs at both a high level and a granular level.
- Work with the data engineering, business intelligence, and product teams:
- to analyze big data sets, interpret results, and present findings to management.
- in analyzing test results (i.e. pricing changes or new product introductions) and making recommendations to management team Management and BOD reporting related to any revenue results and revenue initiatives
- Collaborate with accounting for process and reporting improvementsand quarterly revenue forecasts. Cross-functional collaboration to truly understand the business and accurately forecast its growth.
What we'll love about you
The ideal candidate will offer a well-rounded set of skills and experiences, capable of working autonomously, in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years working in FP&A, corporate finance, M&A, or investment banking within a fast paced and dynamic company environment with at least 2+ of those years working in forecasting revenue for a subscription business
- Keen eye for understanding of revenue trends, data analytics, and data insights. Experience working with big data sets, analyzing them and using them to build revenue models
- Clear understanding of revenue accounting
- Superior proficiency in Excel: you can build sophisticated models from scratch using advanced formulas/functions and dealing with large sets of data. Strong knowledge of SQL preferred.
- Sophisticated, proven PowerPoint presentation development skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver insights, recommendations, and results concisely and effectively to executive level management. Desire to think big and dive deep; strong attention to detail with big picture orientation preferred.
- Strong time management skills, capable of project managing managing multiple priorities, and ability to manage competing priorities.
