Director of Financial Systems
COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client is focused on developing and commercializing products intended to transform the way calcified cardiovascular disease is treated. The company aims to establish a new standard of care for the interventional treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque, which the company refers to as Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL). IVL is a minimally invasive, easy-to-use and safe way to significantly improve patient outcomes.
LOCATION: Santa Clara, CA. Finance is there 3 days per week and they are flexible on which days.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Overview
The Financial Systems Director will partner closely with our Finance and IT teams to ensure that our systems are meeting our business needs and requirements. Will have a keen understanding of finance business processes and translate them into technical requirements and strategies, long-term roadmaps to improve system efficiencies and the process maturity of all finance systems.
This role will report directly to the VP, Finance with a dotted line to the Corporate Controller, and support both the Accounting and FP&A functions.
Essential Job Functions
• Support all aspects of ERP implementation, from design to testing, and integration to other financial systems.
• Manage the continued development and improvement of planning system (Workday Adaptive) for the FP&A team.
• Drive the expansion of data warehouse and BI adoption, including analytics, dashboards and integration with cross-functional systems.
• Gain a deep understanding of business needs to contribute to prioritization of new projects or enhancements to meeting existing and long-term goals.
• Manage the prioritization and delivery of the Finance systems & analytics roadmap.
• Drive process optimization and identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across the company with multiple functions, including IT, Sales and Operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• At least ten (10) years of experience.
• Required experience with implementation of ERP system such as Oracle.
• Required experience with Workday Adaptive Insights.
• In-depth experience in implementing Finance systems (ERP, Procurement, Payroll, MRP & other tools) and supporting Accounting and Finance departments.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the abilities to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure:$200,000-$240,000. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
