Interim SEC Reporting Sr. Manager
Our client, a digital intelligence company is looking for an Interim SEC Reporting Sr. Manager to support their team by focusing on SEC and external reporting requirements and key deadlines, and to help with heavy lifting and project management on the team to drive deadlines.
This role will be in a hybrid modality at their offices in San Francisco, CA., 2 days per week. This role will have a duration of 2-3 months and will report directly to their CAO.

COMPENSATION:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $80 - $110 per hour. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.

Responsibilities:
- Support preparation of all external financial reporting, including Forms 10-K/10-Q, earnings releases, proxy statement, and other SEC filings – focus on re-drafting, uplifting note disclosures to keep team on track and make room for process improvements and where they can improve quality of footnotes.
- Prepare the quarterly SEC reporting binders, which includes the supporting documents for the SEC filings.
- Review data files for all Form 10-Q and 10-K filings in accordance with the SEC filing requirements.
- Coordinate the information gathering process across the organization and interact with the Company’s external auditors (Deloitte).
- Research, document, record, and communicate technical accounting matters as they arise.
- Experience with NetSuite a plus, Workiva is also a plus (not required)
Qualifications:
- Hands-on self-starter with strong SEC Reporting,
- 10K/10Q, S-1IPO Experience,
- Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling, analytics,
- Very strong communications skills
