The company aims to establish a new standard of care for the interventional treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque, which the company refers to as Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL). IVL is a minimally invasive, easy-to-use and safe way to significantly improve patient outcomes.
LOCATION: Santa Clara on hybrid basis. Finance is there 3 days per week and flexible on the days.

The FP&A team is growing and seeking an FP&A Manager to join their team. This position will support our Research and Development team.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $140,000-$175,000. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.

The FP&A team is growing and seeking an FP&A Manager to join their team. This position will support our Research and Development team.
Essential Job Functions
- Drive the annual budget, rolling forecast and long-range forecast for the R&D department
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly close activities including department variance analysis, tracking project spend, preparation of accruals and various others
- Interface with senior management to review actuals, analyze forecast variance, identify trends and provide recommendations to drive forecast execution and accuracy
- Be the Finance point of contact for business partners on all finance-related matters
- Support team on Corporate FP&A processes including consolidated analysis and reporting
- Participate in ad-hoc projects, systems upgrade and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 8+ years of experience in combination FP&A, Finance or Accounting role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables
- Familiarity with planning software such as Adaptive
- Understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements
- Demonstrated ability to business partner cross-functionally
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
- Team player with strong work ethic
