Our client is focused on developing and commercializing products intended to transform the way calcified cardiovascular disease is treated. The company aims to establish a new standard of care for the interventional treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque, which the company refers to as Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL). IVL is a minimally invasive, easy-to-use and safe way to significantly improve patient outcomes.
LOCATION: Santa Clara on hybrid basis. Finance is there 3 days per week and flexible on the days.

The company aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Position Overview:
The Director of FP&A will be an integral part of the finance team and report to the Corporate Controller. The Director of FP&A is responsible for providing strategic and tactical support to the business by creating and executing finance strategies and practices that are aligned to the business objectives. In this key role, the Director of FP&A will also provide leadership in implementing key planning and analysis tools to aid business growth, decision-making and the achievement of financial commitments.
Essential Job Functions:
• Lead the preparation, management and presentation of the annual operating plan and strategic plan
• Partner with functional department heads to ensure financial and business goals are achieved
• Drive continuous process improvement in operational planning, forecasting and financial analysis across the company, including annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts and weekly flash forecast updates and will develop and prepare superior financial reporting, including use of dashboards, to chart performance and for use in various business reviews, including periodic operating reviews and BOD meetings.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial management reports, including project financials and headcount
• Provide overall business support to the Controller, CFO and CEO, including ad-hoc financial analytics as requested

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 10+ years of FP&A experience or equivalent experience
• Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
• Experience with Adaptive Insights a must, QAD a plus
• Prior experience in medical device or healthcare industry a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
• Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25 lbs or more. Employees will be required to work in an air conditioned office space and possibly perform some tasks in our non-temperature controlled warehouse space.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure:$190,000-$245,000. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
